Quick Start Guide
Get your account set up and start managing your company.
Creating Your Account
Sign up with your email and password. Verify your email, then complete the onboarding flow.
Account Owners
If you’re creating a new company account, you’ll set up your personal profile, then enter your company details: legal entity name, jurisdiction, currency, and a brief description. Optionally add authorized shares and ESOP pool size — you can complete these later if you don’t have them handy.
Choose your subscription plan or start with a 30-day free trial. Plans are based on the product tier you need.
Team Members
If you’ve been invited to join an existing account, you’ll just complete your personal profile and you’re in.
First Steps
After onboarding, here’s the recommended setup order:
Connect accounting — If you use Xero or QuickBooks, connect it first. Go to Financials → Actuals → Connect Accounting. This pulls in your historical data automatically. See Accounting Integrations.
Complete company profile — Fill in incorporation details, tax IDs, and compliance information at Company → Company Profile. The more complete your profile, the better compliance tracking and reporting work. Process compliance dates to generate calendar events for filing deadlines.
Set up your cap table — Go to Investors → Cap Table. Add shareholders, record your funding rounds, and link shareholdings. Start with a “Founding” round to track initial founder equity.
Invite your team — Go to Account Settings → Invitations. Enter email addresses and assign a role (admin, member, or external). Then, from People & Access, grant capabilities (like finance or HR access) and choose what to share company-wide with transparency settings. See Roles & Permissions.
Enter financials or forecasts — If you’re not using an accounting integration, enter actuals manually or start with forecasts to project your runway.
Define metrics — Set up the KPIs you want to track in the Metrics section.
Navigation
The sidebar organizes everything into sections (you’ll see the ones your role and capabilities allow):
