Employee Profiles
The core of HR management in FoundersBoxx. Each employee has a profile containing their employment details, agreements, compensation, and equity grants. This is the company’s record of the employee — not the employee’s personal profile where they manage their own bio, skills, hobbies, and contact details.

Employment Information
Basic details about the employee’s role and place in the organization: position, employment status (Active, On Leave, Offboarded), relationship type (Full-time, Part-time, Contractor, Intern), team assignment, and reporting manager.
Check Is Team Manager if this person manages their assigned team — this enables the My Team view for them and sets up the org chart correctly.
Agreements
Track signed documents like NDAs, employment contracts, and IP assignments. Click + Add Agreement to upload and record each document. This keeps all employment paperwork in one place for compliance and reference.
Compensation

Record the employee’s current annual salary. Use Compensation History to track changes over time — raises, bonuses, promotions, and OTE adjustments. This builds a complete record of how compensation has evolved.
Compensation data is admin-only and not visible to other team members.
Equity Grants

Record stock option grants with full vesting details: number of shares, vesting start date, vesting period (typically 4 years), and cliff period (typically 12 months). Enable Acceleration on Acquisition if unvested shares should vest immediately upon company sale.
Equity grants connect to the cap table, so employee ownership is automatically reflected in your company’s equity structure.
Permissions
All team members can view the directory. Managers can see their direct reports’ profiles. Only administrators can view and edit compensation and equity information.
