Funding Rounds

Record your company’s financing history — every round from founding to the latest raise.

Funding Rounds

Adding a Round

Click New Funding Round. Enter the round name (e.g., “Seed”, “Series A”), amount raised, round type, and close date.

Add Round

Round types:

Priced rounds are traditional equity financing with a specific price per share. You’ll enter pre-money valuation; post-money and price per share calculate automatically.

SAFE and Note rounds record the overall raise. Add individual instruments with specific terms (valuation caps, discounts) under Convertibles.

Linking to Shareholders

Rounds don’t automatically create shareholdings. After recording a round:

  1. Go to Shareholders
  2. Select the investor
  3. Click Add Shareholding
  4. Choose the funding round

This connects the investor’s specific allocation to that round.

Founder Shares

Create a “Founding” or “Incorporation” round to track initial founder equity. It’s not technically a funding round, but recording it keeps all shareholdings organized within the rounds structure.
